Our very own "Sketchy Beginnings"

Drum roll please ...

We have always had a penchant for societies' imperfections; these imperfections being the very thing that makes us human.  Of course it is all but fitting that Wabi-Sabi drives a lot of our inspiration, a Japanese aesthetic that embraces transience and imperfection.  Working with vintage furniture, it is always the imperfections that tell the story.  And it is the story that brings the connectivity to your home.  That forges the connection you have to something material and make it so very desired and loved.

And it is with this muse, that Sketchy Beginnings was born.  For this, our inaugural collection,  we have lovingly infused restored mid-century furniture with vibrant neon colours and free-hand machine sketches to add that uniqueness and some randomness to each piece.  Every piece of furniture, every cushion is hand-sketched and by the nature of the artistic process is one of a kind.

And why did we do this?  Well, to have fun of course and to make you smile.
