Our Classic Mid-century Modern #MCM arm-chairs have been stripped, sanded & oiled with Danish polish. We have a few of these in stock & a shed-load of springs ready to be sized & re-sprung. These pieces come fully restored, including new cushions & decking. I love re-telling the story of one of these we picked up off the street, where the owner had gone through the arduous task of making the chair completely water proof with garbage bags & a roll of tape to keep it from the elements. I often play stories in my mind of the previous owner of this particular #MCM and the attachment to this chair, almost as if they were leaving a loved one on the street ready for adoption, tears in their eyes. I’m proud to have been the foster-mum for a short period of care, but now it’s time to find an adopted family. Love mid-century?
