The Chaise Me chair is special to me, like so many chairs, because of the story. I bought this chair from the sweetest lady in her twilight years, downsizing from her simply amazing mid-century house in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne. On first glance of this lounge, I simply said “it’s beautiful”, and tears started to roll down her cheek with sadness. It turns out that it was part of a larger family of furniture that was given to her on her wedding day.
Chaise Me has seen a bit of action lately… Jen has started removing the vinyl and it is no longer available in the “as is” condition depicted in the photo. You can have this inspiring chair re-covered for a new home & new generation.
